Worship is a little bit different this week!
There will be no service at the Moggill or Karana Downs Uniting Church buildings, instead we are joining together for a Thanksgiving Gathering Service at Anstead Bushland Reserve.
If you are unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed and available via the link below or the Moggill church website.

Please note: the mobile reception might be patchy at the Reserve. If the live-stream is interrupted or patchy there will be a recorded version uploaded later on Sunday.
A few things to note if you are attending in person.
We are still required by law to meet certain Covid restrictions even though we are outdoors This includes the limiting of items shared around/handled, and a requirement to carry a mask at all times.
As with all events, services, gatherings everywhere we go these days, by attending you are agreeing that you are not unwell, that you have not been in contact with anyone who has, or has been in contact with anyone who has Covid, and that you have not travelled to/from any known Covid hotspots recently. We need to maintain physical distancing between household/social groups where possible, or wear masks if distancing cannot be maintained. Hand sanitiser will be available. A record of attendance will be kept for the purposes of Covid contact tracing, if needed.
Please BYO chair, hat/umbrella, water, hot drinks, and a PEN or PENCIL
In the following post is a song sheet with words to all of the songs. Please bring this on your mobile device or print out a copy if you wish to sing along!!
The formal part of the gathering (ie worship and thanksgiving) will commence at 9am for approximately the length of a usual worship service.
You are invited to stay on for a celebration cake at morning tea time. (Some cold drinks will be available.)
If the weather is beautiful, which the forecast currently is indicating, you may even like to take the chance to bring a picnic lunch and stay on to fellowship with new & old friends.
In the event the weather turns wet by Sunday the gathering will be relocated. The church council will make that decision on Saturday afternoon and notify any changes by email.
Note: parking is limited at the Bushland Reserve area. There is a second parking area further up the hill along Hawkesbury Road. For those who are physically capable, if the main carpark is nearing capacity, please consider dropping off your passengers, parking in the second area and walking back down along the track.
We look forward to sharing this time of thanksgiving on Sunday
