A light shining from the hillside.

We are a group of people from Karana Downs, Mt Crosby and surrounding suburbs seeking to shine a light of hope from our hillside home (180 Swensons Rd Mt Crosby).

We are motivated by God’s love which with all Christians we believe has been given to us a a free gift in the life, words and death of Jesus. We are proudly part of the Uniting Church in Australia. (https://assembly.uca.org.au/about/uca)

We worship at 9 AM on Sundays, including a childrens program (Kids Connect) during school terms. A highlight of the year is Day Camp each June School Holidays for primary school age children where we work with other local churches, the Moggill Uniting and Bellbowrie Community Churches to bring outdoor activities and access to Christianity for our local children.

A weekly quilting and craft group enjoy laughter & friendship in our comfortable hillside bush setting. Everyone is welcome. At this stage occasional rather than regular youth activities are scheduled as many of our own youth are now young adults and have moved to the Big Smoke.

We are looking to build meaningful connections in other ways with our local community.
